Author Biography

Ewa Siatkowska

(1930-2020) – professor of Slavic studies, worked for many years at the Institute of Slavic Philology at the University of Warsaw. Her research interests focus on the history of language, lexicology, and cultural studies. She recently published the book Słowa. Monographie leksykalne, a collection of thirty thematically diverse articles, inviting the reader "for a walk in the forest of words".
