 Abstract   

“W Drodze” was a biweekly political and literary magazine, which was issued in Jerusalem from 1943 until 1946. The title of the magazine defines its leitmotiv, constant abiding “en route” that can be understood symbolically. The history of our country is a continuous journey towards freedom, the road to independence, and the wandering fate of Polish soldiers and civilians. Therefore in biweekly magazine “W Drodze” we find publications on art and politics and above all the history, to which references are found in most texts relating to matters of patriotism and important national holidays. The magazine has contributed to the dissemination of the soldiers’ achievements internationally and, above all, to the émigré readers.
